  Evreux's belfry and cathedral are masterpieces of gothic flamboyant. Anet's castle , a beautiful example of Renaissance architecture, has been Diane de Poitiers's last home. In Vernon, Bizy's castle and parc were built in the XVIIIth century by Fouquet. Close to Bernay, Beaumesnil's castle is known as the little Versailles and obviously the genuine one is only 50 min from the house...

• For the lovers of parcs and gardens

  In Normandy climate, water and sun came together to fulfill the gardener's dreams : Claude Monet's famous garden in Giverny, the parcs of the Bizy and Beaumesnil's castles, Harcourt arboretum (400 species of exotic trees)...

  Nantilly's Golf, an internationnaly well known round, on which you can play all year long, the Eure (calm river) on which you can do canoë-kayak , paragliding around Evreux (Eur'enciel Club), and finally fishing in the Eure or the Risle.

  Normandy offers a wide varitey of specialties : first come the cheeses (Neufchâtel, Pont-l’évêque, Livarot, Camembert…), but also charcuterie (Andouille de Vire, Tripes à la mode de Caen…), and shellfishes, the whole accompanied by cider and calva.
